In 1989,
Chuck Huttinger, Founder and CEO, acquired Midwest
Decal, a small decal/label printer with five
employees. In the early 90s, Mr. Huttinger changed
the focus of the company from small decals to P-O-P
signage and graphics. In 1996, the company changed
its name to GFX International, Inc. Today, GFX is a
marketing-at-retail design and production firm with
in-house manufacturing and logistics capabilities
that employs over 200 people in Grayslake, IL, a
northern suburb of Chicago.
